Frequently asked
Everything you need to know before their close-up.
Clear answers, honest expectations, and no fine-print surprises.
Creating your portrait
What kind of photo works best?+
Choose a well-lit, eye-level photo with the full face, eyes, and ears visible. A clear phone photo is usually enough, and the studio automatically sizes it for you.
Does everyone need to be in one photo?+
No. For group portraits, upload one clear source for each person and pet so every identity can be styled and composed separately.
How many people and pets can I include?+
Pet-only portraits support one to three pets. People & Pets supports up to three total subjects: two people and one pet, or one person and two pets. Only locked templates with the correct number of character positions are shown.
Can you create portraits for pets other than cats and dogs?+
We’re launching with dogs and cats so we can hold every portrait to the same likeness and quality standards. We may add other companions later based on customer demand.
Previews and approval
Can I create a personalized preview?+
Yes. You can browse every scene and create personalized, watermarked previews during prelaunch. No purchase is needed to preview.
How do I check the finished portrait?+
Compare it with the original photo, inspect every face and marking, and approve the likeness before saving the preview.
Product previews
Which formats can I explore?+
You can preview a high-resolution digital portrait, matte framed portrait, canvas, and selected keepsakes. The launch list is the best way to hear when the collection is available.
Can I zoom into the finished portrait?+
Yes. The review opens on the complete fitted portrait, then lets you zoom and pan to inspect every face and marking.
Can I make a portrait as a gift?+
Gift presentation and private-message options are part of the studio preview. Availability details will be shared with the launch list.
